A Preggo Meme! - Tag your "It"!

1. How did you find out you were pregnant?

With my first son I started feeling "hot-flashy" and very tired, took a test after not knowing I was preggo for almost 3 months (I figured I had just skipped the time of the month, cause that sometimes happens with me) and sure enough I was preggo! My 2nd preggo I just kept having the "feeling" , took a test at my Doctor's (blood test, didn't show up on the urine test) and wallah I was preggo! Now for the 3rd preggo (the one on-going, I'm 7 months as of yesterday) I kept having the "feeling" but I actually took a home test and popped positive, that's a first cause I usually have to take a blood test to find out I'm pregnant.

2. How did you tell your partner (if you have/had one)?

I think with Devin's Dad (ex-hubby) I just told him, he was excited at the time, swore we were having a girl, ha ha we had a boy. Unfortunately with Gabriel's father (not my current hubby, I guess we could call him a friend...) I text messaged him.. it was an iffy/ackward situation with him. Now, with our baby girl I placed the home preggo test in a pink gift bag with a pink bow and handed my husband Phillip (current) the bag, he knew instantly we were preggo and was soo excited and yes he predicted we were having a girl from day one!

3. Did you secretly hope for a girl or a boy?

With my first I had desperately wanted a girl, but became accustomed to a boy, with my 2nd I knew I was having a boy and was relieved! Now, this time around I was actually wanting a baby girl and God answered my prayers!


4. Did you feel ready to have a child?

Yes, I feel as if I've always been ready.

5. What bit of advice did you get that you hated?

Certain people telling me what to use for teething with Gabriel.. a chicken bone? Are you nuts?

6. What bit of advice did you get that you appreciated?

That I was going to make a great Mother and I could handle everything that came my way and soo far I have! I'm a huge multi-tasker!
