My thoughts on "Dream Baby":
As soon as I was contacted about "Dream Baby" I was instantly interested because my son Gabriel has a huge love of music in all forms. I believe it is due to the fact that I was very big into having a variety of music playing for him in the car, in the crib, and even while he was in the womb! He has such an appreciation for all types of music at such an early age, I can tell this by how it soothes him, comforts him and excites him to the point of dancing! Dream Baby is now his favorite cd to listen to while he is getting ready to enter "Sleepy Town" (our word for bedtime/nap), his favorites are "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", I'll catch him doing the hand motions we've learned while he's laying down, my favorite is "You are my Sunshine" and "I'm Little Teapot". A bit of background:

“Dream Baby” CD is therapeutic because studies have proven that music notes played on the harp lowers the level of the stress hormone cortisol and raises melatonin levels, promoting sleep and relaxation. Another study confirms that as little as 30 minutes of exposure to harp music increases IgQ antibody levels in the body by 20%, helping to relieve anxiety.

In July 2007, an unedited and unaired video of Merry interviewing Holly Hunter was leaked onto YouTube. Despite the negative publicity, it did not detract from her reputation as one of the world’s finest harpists or effect her recording career.
