For My Kids a Review and Giveaway!

For My Kids, For My Home, For My Planet
~Such a great Quote from "For My Kids" ~

Thanks to Christine Stewart over at "For My Kids" we got the opportunity to review the All-Natural Hand Wash, the All-Natural Comfrey Salve, and the All-Natural Vegan Lip Balm and as an added bonus to my readers I have all 3 up for grabs to "3" lucky winners!

This is from "For My Kids":

For My Kids All-Natural Hand Wash is a lavender-scented spray that is ideal for times when you can't get to soap and water.

All-Natural Comfrey Salve: Sometimes what we put on our boo-boos can be scarier than the actual boo-boo itself. Our All-Natural Comfrey Salve contains organic extra-virgin olive oil, candelilla wax, organic tamanu oil, organic comfrey, organic calendula, and organic lavender. For My Kids Comfrey Salve is great for minor cuts and burns, scrapes, and bug bites.

All-Natural Vegan Lip Balm. Soft smooth lips are an asset to every face. The weather, our environment, and the food we eat all take a toll on our lips. Since lips don't have their own oil glands, it's up to us to keep them soft. Unfortunately, a lot of lip products on the market today contain products that you don't want to put anywhere near your mouth (some of those ingredients are down-right scary!). That's where For My Kids All-Natural Vegan Lip Balm comes in. This naturally-protective formula contains organic sweet almond oil, organic coconut oil, carnauba wax, organic tamanu oil, and organic vanilla extract (or organic peppermint extract for those of you who are more adventurous!).

My Review:

Seriously with all the toxins we are finding in every day products today wouldn't you want to find the all-natural alternative? You wouldn't want to put your child in any type of harm's way would you, by simply using a toxic hand soap or cancer causing

The All-Natural Hand Wash is very convenient, I was able to use this for myself and my son. It was very easy to just spray and rub our hands together until dry. Just a few ways it came in handy was when we were out in public after touching shopping carts, books at the library, getting ready to eat a snack, etc. It has a light fragrance to it but not overly potent like some hand sanitizers, its not sticky after spraying it onto your hands and rubbing them together, I was very satisfied with this product!

*Gabriel especially got a kick out of it cause he has learned how to use lotion too and loves the fact that Mommy let him use something new.

For My Kids Comfrey Salve came in handy right when Christine had sent me the samples for review I ended up having some "boo-boos" of my own! These products aren't just for your kids they are also great for the parents, LOL! I mean I wasn't about to get hurt to review this.. or was I? I had a few mosquito bites, since Virginia is notorious for the pesky lil' blood suckers and this salve instantly helped to cool the sting, so if it worked for me, it will definately help your child!

All-Natural Vegan Lip Balm: I love lip balm and if its all-natural, it works for me! I loved testing this out cause like I said I simply "love" lip balm! Gabriel was a bit too young for this.. kept wanting to eat it.. but he's only 17 months.. figures. The vanilla scented is extra yummy and very soothing! I highly recommend it for your lips, for my lips, for everyone's lips.. why am I thinking Veggie Tales... oh yeah "I Love My Lips!"

The product that interests me is the For My Kids All-Natural Alternative to Antibacterial Disinfectant because I just read an article that was about how bad antibacterial soaps can be for you and your kids because of the growing epidemic of the bacteria getting accustomed to it. I would prefer For My Kids Comfrey Salve for my family because my boys hate getting their boo-boos disinfected with soap or rubbing alcohol because it stings.

Thank you so much for a great giveaway! nw_wife(at)hotmail(dot)com

From the website I like the Antibacterial disinfectant.

Out of your three reviews, I would be most interested in the comfrey balm because I don't like mosquito bites either!

May Canadians enter? I'm interested in the herbal insect repellent because we live in an area with a lot of mosquitoes (we live right above a swamp). Of the three products you reviewed, I'm most interested in the comfrey salve.

Sue said...

When I saw what you wrote about the Comfrey Salve helping to soothe the sting of mosquito bites, I knew that was it for me! My boys are literally magnets for those pesky insects and I am always on the look out for something natural that actually works!

Thanks so much!

I think we would have to go for the Vegan Lip Balm, because as gross as it sounds my daughter tends to eat the chapstick more than wear it. I love that they have a toxic free Antibacterial disinfectant. AMAZING!

Rita T. said...

The hand wash sounds good to me...so many them contain harsh chemicals that counteract what you're trying to accomplish.

Mrs. Sara said...

I think the alternative to antiseptic sounds interesting. Being pregnant with my first child, I'm starting to research healthier cleaning supplies, and this sounds like it would be great! Personally, of the three products you reviewed, I'd love to try the lip balm. Pregnancy does a number on my skin, and my lips are always chapped!

Thanks for the giveaway!

I like the lip balm. I remember my lips getting so chapped in the winter and it scares me to put most lip balms on my daughter (14 months) because she is probably going to lick a lot of it off. So I could use that for this winter.

I also like the hand wash, because there are so many times when my daughter touches things I'd prefer her not to and then I have no safe way of washing her hands!

I like the hand wash. The lip balm would probably get used most by our family, though.

I like all of the hand wash products, because keeping the hands clean and disinfecting is one of the keys to staying healthy! I'd love to win the salve, my kids get mosquito bites and little scrapes and cuts all the time (boys), I've never tried anything like it.

Favorite item would be the insect repellent and the hand wash would be great.

We would definitely love the hand disinfectant. My daughter is a thumb-sucker ,so she's continually asking if she has to wash her hands again before sucking her thumb whenever she touches something LOL

the insect repellant looked intriguing. for this giveaway i think i'd go w/ the lip balm - i'm a bit of an addict to chapstick/lip balm

Kathleen said...

The insect repellent is interesting to me. I don't know if mosquitoes are worse than usual around here this year or if we just moved into mosquito central, but man! Itchy.

I would prefer the For My Kids Comfrey Salve. My daughter has recently learned that she can fling herself at the earth and cause herself harm, and she's embracing it with gusto!

Thank you for the giveaway!

I really like the All Natural hand wash. My oldest son has sensitive skin but has mild OCD about washing his hands. As a result his hands are always dry. This sounds like a great soap and would be much less irritating to his skin. Of the products you reviewed the All Natural hand was is my favorite as well. Thanks for having this giveaway!
