Friday's Forty or Less Photo Challenge & Poetic License

This week's photo was posted on Wednesday at Pensieve! This is fun so be sure to get in on it every Friday and also the "Poetic License", read on below:

Friday's 40-or-less Photo Challege:
Fresh and Crisp,
Tap or Filtered,
Benefical and Healthy
Your doctor recommends 8 cups a day

Mid-month Every Month at PENSIEVE

What is a Pensieve? A titled, five-line poem; each line correlates to one of the five senses--sight, sound, scent, taste, touch--and describes the subject (title). The goal is for the reader to take on the poem as his own, being able to "experience" your subject through your words, by seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and feeling what you described.

My Pensieve:

"Bubbles" by Kristinia Clos © 2008
Glassy and glossy and oh so see thru
With each pop and burst of the bubble
Causes giggles and squeals of delight
A funny type taste if you decide to open wide
smell the soapy aroma as the bubbles pass you by.

  1. Well, welcome, Kristinia :).

Your first Friday's 40 is spot on for the picture; not many have been inspired by this week's photo (at least, not yet), so I was thrilled with your submission.

Hope you'll be back week after week :).

    Thanks!!

  2. Kristina, your entries were so good. I really liked the pensieve. It instantly reminded me of a conversation I was privy to when my sister called me the other day. She was driving, and all of a sudden, she yells, "Stop blowing those bubbles in the car. I can't see anymore. They're burning my eyes and I can taste that soapy taste in my mouth." Her kids thought that was so funny.

    Anyway, I enjoyed stopping by.

  4. I am just amazed at all the subjects that are coming through with these poems. Yours is delightful - and reminds me of last week with my granddaughter.
