Have you heard of Kajeet? Well if you haven't your definately in for a real treat! Kajeet is the cell phone service made just for kids. I know I know.. I used to even tell myself my child will never get a cell phone.. not at least until they can pay for it on their own, right? Even though my little ones aren't quite talking or texting yet I will be using this service for them by the time they turn 8.

The main focus age is from 8 years old to 14 but I can see this service being used for my child until they are 17. Why? Well I believe that children should learn responsibility and also know that they are embracing a responsibility that you have total control to. Because for those parents who's children do have cell phones are children/teens running up your bill? Do you have to deal with any overages? That's the awesome thing about Kajeet, YOU control their service while still allowing a great deal of responsibility.

I love it, total control allows freedom!

There are 6 super cool phones made by well known manufacturers that are currently available. They are up to date phones with features like text messaging, instant messing, picture messaging, wallpaper, ringtones, and of course games. With parental control features, the WalletManager teachers your child how to manage money and handle his or her account responsibly. The WalletManager includes the services that the child can use that you have paid for. You can customize all of these features, this is a great way to reward your child (allowance). Your children can pay for things like ringtones, wallpaper, games as long as they have money in their wallet.

If the account is running low your child's phone will get an alert message and you can either refill online or at select nationwide stores, I recommend online.


So I know your asking, can I manage when my child can use their phone, who can call them or who can't? YES! Isn't this phone service incredible, I definately give Kajeet a huge Loving Heart Mommy approval! With the Time Manager you can set the times your child can use the phone. The Contact Manager allows you to choose who can or can't call your child (as long as you know their numbers first hand). You can even block, say Jane Doe has a boyfriend who is now her "ex" boyfriend (you know how kids are these days) and you don't want him calling, just block his number, this even applies to text messages!

With Talk paks, Text Paks, or even Pay as you Go, this is an awesome phone and made just for YOU and your CHILDREN! Thanks to the 3 Dad's who came up with Kajeet we can now keep in touch with our children with absolutely no worries!
