When I recieved my gift basket I was overjoyed, it was just in time for "our" Thanksgiving dinner. We actually cooked up our feast on December 1st.. since I forgot to buy a turkey that wasn't as hard as concrete, ours thawed 3 days prior to cooking and our feast was on the 1st of December! But we did get to use Progresso's extra yummy chicken broth for our stuffing and mashed potatoes!

    1. My favourite holiday recipe is for Chocolate Haystacks. They are easy to make because I am not much of a cook!
You need 2 cups of chocolate chips, 2 cups of butterscotch chips, 1 cup salted peanuts and those crunchy Chinese noodles in a can. Melt the chips and then mix in the peanuts and noodles. Take a spoon and drop spoonfuls on wax paper and let it harden and then ENJOY!

THe thing that makes them special is the icing she puts on them. I can eat those ALL DAY! The icing is caramel colored and maple flavored and TO DIE FOR!

    28. My favorite recipe is for sage sausage rice. It is so easy, yet delicious. I just brown 1 package Jimmy Dean sage sausage with some diced onions and celery, add salt, pepper, and basil. All this is in proportions according to your taste. I use a lot since I like spicy.

Then I add 1 3/4 cups water and 2 cups instant brown rice. Bring to a boil and then simmer covered 5 minutes. Let rest and it's ready to serve. Delicious. Serves 4
