When I recieved my gift basket I was overjoyed, it was just in time for "our" Thanksgiving dinner. We actually cooked up our feast on December 1st.. since I forgot to buy a turkey that wasn't as hard as concrete, ours thawed 3 days prior to cooking and our feast was on the 1st of December! But we did get to use Progresso's extra yummy chicken broth for our stuffing and mashed potatoes!

My favourite holiday recipe is for Chocolate Haystacks. They are easy to make because I am not much of a cook!
ReplyDeleteYou need 2 cups of chocolate chips, 2 cups of butterscotch chips, 1 cup salted peanuts and those crunchy Chinese noodles in a can. Melt the chips and then mix in the peanuts and noodles. Take a spoon and drop spoonfuls on wax paper and let it harden and then ENJOY!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite recipe is for sage sausage rice. It is so easy, yet delicious. I just brown 1 package Jimmy Dean sage sausage with some diced onions and celery, add salt, pepper, and basil. All this is in proportions according to your taste. I use a lot since I like spicy.
ReplyDeleteThen I add 1 3/4 cups water and 2 cups instant brown rice. Bring to a boil and then simmer covered 5 minutes. Let rest and it's ready to serve. Delicious. Serves 4
goodness, id have to say go the easy route,
ReplyDeletei take a boxe of brownie mix and throw in different goodies like:
M&M's, chocolate chips, vanilla chips, reases... well just about anything to make it even sweeter!
