is an awesome workbook book just for the young ladies in your life! This book is a hands on approach to exploring universal Awareness. Some of the things you will learn are how to exercise your 7 chakras, exploring your inner self, creating your future, crystals, how to keep a healthy aura, and practice learning the pendulum. There are even cool crafts on creating your own aromatherapy!

I actually read this book going through a quite different time in my life, there has been a lot of negative instead of positive, even though this book is designed for girls, I believe anyone can get a lil' something from this book.

The workbook is full of fun meditations and exercises and they can actually calm your soul, the do have a wonderful effect if your feeling hurt or stressed!

When I first read this book I had no idea about "chakras", I came to find out that
they are One of the seven centers of spiritual energy in the human body according to yoga philosophy. Starting a the bottom of your spine, and end at the top of your head.

If you come from any religion whether is be Christian, Jewish, Muslim, I can understand most not being as open to the information from the author. The book focuses on teaching how to connect with your inner being and/or consciousness, and generally leaves out techniques found in the Bible and other religious works.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and education on "Awakening my Consciousness", and will gladly recommend it to you!
