Intak by Thermos
All pregnant women are aware that they should take in more calories during
their pregnant months, but most don't consider they should also be drinking
enough liquids for two. Pregnant women can lose up to 2-3 quarts of water
per day and typically need to drink between 8 and 12, eight-ounce glasses of
water each day - sometimes even more with warmer weather and a higher
activity level!
Thermos, a company dedicated to providing hydration solutions for over 100
years, provides BPA-free beverage bottle solutions for the entire family,
including new Intak by Thermos to help the mom-to-be and children (and all
"parents/adults) on the go stay hydrated. New Intak by Thermos even has an
intake meter" to track your daily water consumption.
While keeping our families healthy and hydrated is vital, caring for our
environment and teaching our children to help others is just as important.
To raise awareness of the 1.1 billion people that lack access to clean
water, Thermos has partnered with charity: water, a non-profit organization
dedicated to bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing
nations and to spread awareness of the global water crisis.
Thermos is encouraging public involvement by making a donation to charity: water when consumers donate to the charity through Thermos' HydrationForAll.com , CLICK here to Donate.
This collaborative effort will raise funds to build wells in two African communities, one in Liberia and one in Ethiopia both in need of clean drinking water.
In addition to donating to the global water crisis, the first 1,000 visitors
to donate to charity: water through HydrationForAll.com will also receive
the opportunity to have their names included on one of two well plaques
featured in African communities. Virtual plaques will also be visible on
charity: water's Google Earth platform.
I was able to review the new Intāk™ Bottle for Adults by Thermos!
A bit about the bottle:

Intāk by Thermos bottle is a BPA-free copolyester container with a leak-proof lid, one hand push button operation and rotating intake meter to monitor daily water consumption. Perfect for:
the fitness fanatic in your office who constantly discusses working out. She will be excited that the bottle holds 24 oz. of water and fits in her stationary bike cup holder.
the outdoors enthusiast in your family who dreams of a “vacation” to Mount Everest of the Amazon for rainforest exploration. He’ll enjoy the flip-up loop that can be clipped to a bag for hands-free carrying and the leak-proof lid to keep his bag dry throughout the trip.
the environmentalist in your circle of friends who is always concerned with what materials products are made from and where they’re made. She’ll be comforted knowing this bottle is made from BPA-free Eastman Tritan™ copolyester and love it if you include a donation to charity: water in her name to support sustainable hydration in African communities.
My thouhts on Intak, I loved the flip-up loop and the leak-proof lid, I was definately able to monitor my water consumption, something I had never really kept track of. I've learned by using Intak my water consumption has increased, and its actually kind of "fun" to drink a lot of water, I used to be just a strictly, coffee, tea and soda drinker.

and the Foogo® Leak-Proof Sippy Cup for Infants and Toddlers
While they may not appreciate it as much, the young ones in your family need to stay hydrated too! The Foogo sippy and straw bottle feature insultation to reduce bacterial growth in beverages and an unbreakable stainless steel exterior and interior to protect it when thrown in a tantrum.
My thoughts on the Foogo, every parent has to adore the fact that when a cup says "leak-proof" its actually true with the Foogo! The stainless steel had me worried but no worries about the cup breaking and the extra insultaion even reduces all those germies which can linger in other cups.
Can't wait to get your hands on the Intak or the Foogo? These bottles and much more are available to conveniently purchase at Thermos.com.
