My Thoughts on "Face of Betrayal" (A Triple Threat Novel):
In "Face of Betrayal" you follow the story of Katie Converse a Senate page who has went missing during Christmas break and its up to the "Triple Threat Club" to reveal what has happened to her. The Triple Threat club consists of federal prosecutor Allison Pierce, crime reporter Cassidy Shaw, and FBI Special Agent Nicole Hedges.
As we follow the search for Katie we also get to know the ladies of the Triple Threat Club and how besides their strong friendships, religious views, and lifestyles how they come to work together on a page turning case.
Face of Betrayal is a political thriller, that will literally have you on the edge of your seat. I enjoyed learning how the media and FBI agents perform their jobs, Lis Wiehl gives you a bit of insight due to her backrgound in the subjects. At the end of the book you will be shocked to see the truth revealed on this case by the Triple Threat Club.
This book was a real page turner, the chapters are kept short which with myself being a Mom to young children was great if I had to stop reading and be able to easily pick up where I had left off.
After you read "Face of Betrayal" if your wanting more which if your like me you definately can't wait for the next thrilling novel. Be on the lookout for "Hand of Fate" in 2010, there is a small excerpt from the new book in "Face of Betrayal"!
