Crayon Rocks - Review

Crayon Rocks - Made of Renewable Soy and Draw like Pastels

Crayon Rocks are easy to hold, encourage a proper pencil grip and develop fine motor skills. These soy crayons create beautifully textured drawings. Made of soy wax, so they go on smoothly, like pastels or paint. Kids love them too! They are easy hold and encourage the use of a tripod grip which helps develop future writing skills. Soy Crayon Rocks are GREAT first art materials. Age 3+
You get 16 Crayon Rocks stored in a 4" square box, protected by a sliding clear cover. Made in La Crescenta, CA - USA
Soy crayons are made from renewable soybeans grown in the USA and are colored with natural mineral powders. They are non-toxic and conform to ASTM D 4236. Available at Nico & Zoe Toys for $8 Retail - http://www.nicoandzoe.com/

Their inspiration is our children. As parents, we are always on the lookout for quality, locally made, funky toys, while still getting a good value for your money.

Stacy and Pamela are the moms and owners of Nico & Zoe.

They carry a variety of toys - about 1/3 US made, 1/3 European made and 1/3 Asia manufactured. They trust all of the toys that they carry to be safe for your children - their own children play with the toys!

My Views:

I simply loved the concept behind crayon rocks, they are easy to hold, no worries about your child breaking them as easily and most of all they are made with renewable soy. Very safe and create very colorful pictures, they do draw like pastels which is also pretty neat.

As soon as my son Gabriel (age 2 1/2) finishes a picture I'll be sure to scan a few so you my readers can see just how beautiful the colors come out!
