This was a dusting last week on December 9th!
Wonder what it will look like here after tonight? We are under a "BLIZZARD" warning according to Yahoo Weather! I'll take pictures for sure because I've been hearing up to a foot of snow! This will be the most snow we've had this winter and just in time for Christmas!
- Tonight: Snow, heavy at times. Gusty winds will lead to blizzard conditions. Low near 25F. Winds N at 25 to 35 mph. Snow accumulating 5 to 8 inches. Winds could occasionally gust over 50 mph.
- Tomorrow: Windy. Snow and blowing snow during the morning will give way to snow showers during the afternoon. High near 30F. Winds NNW at 25 to 35 mph. 3 to 5 inches of snow expected. Winds could occasionally gust over 50 mph.
- Tomorrow night: Becoming partly cloudy later with any flurries or snow showers ending by midnight. Windy. Low 22F. Winds NW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 30%.
The Blizzard Warning:
I'm prepared, I've got LED flashlights, a battery operated lantern (gas/oil lanterns are not safe indoors with children), plenty of batteries! Since the house is run by gas heat, I'll still be able to cook and the heat will still work! Just no lights! Sounds fun eh? Hopefully the angels enjoy seeing the snow instead of wondering why "Dora" or "Mickey Mouse" isn't working in the morning, if the power may go out...
...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST SUNDAY...
