Ultimate Party Meatballs
I made this simply super recipe for my family & friends and I couldn't get enough compliments and it only took me 4 hours to make in my slow cooker! Check out the recipe below and here if you'd like to print it out for your own safekeeping!
The Ingredients:
- 1 14-ounce can Ocean Spray® Jellied Cranberry Sauce
- 1 12-ounce bottle Heinz® Chili Sauce
- 1 2-pound bag frozen, pre-cooked, cocktail-size meatballs
Combine sauces in a large saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring until smooth. Add meatballs. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until meatballs are heated through, stirring occasionally.
Makes 30 appetizer servings.
Slow cooker Preparation: Place meatballs in a slow cooker. Combine sauces and pour over meatballs. Cover and cook 4 hours on HIGH.“I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Heinz and Ocean Spray and received the ingredients necessary to facilitate my review. In addition, Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.”

I used Welches Sparkling Grape juice to make my meatballs and they were a HUGE success!
What a yummy and easy recipe. I am having family over for Christmas dinner and I bought a bag of frozen Italian meatballs from M&M meats (I hope they are good) and their sweet and sour sauce and planned on letting it slow cook during the day. I am having ham, swiss steak, roast beef and gravy, italian sausage stuffing, spinach dip in pumpernickel and sourdough bread, broccoli salad, bean salad, carrots in a brown sugar glaze and more (dont want to write a novel here LOL) so because I'm going to be rather busy preparing and cooking this stuff, I decided not to make my own meatballs even though they are better. After reading your yours though, I'd really like to try it. I just bought some Ocean Spray jellied cranberry sauce today but I dont have any Heinz chili sauce. I will run out tomorrow and get some. Is this like a sweet n sour idea or what? Anyways, thanks again..sounds good to me..I like those 2 ingredients. Happy Holidays everyone.
