My views on "Thicker Than Blood":

C.J. Darlington's "Thicker Than Blood" is moving! A story about two sisters, who have been ripped apart emotionally and made to move forward with their lives. Both are going through a tragic time, both have not been in touch with each other for years, due to an unfortunate accident with their parent's death. This book
shows how God can help anyone through it all. This is hard at first for Christy to understand after she ran away from everything, including herself. She is eventually re-united with her sister May who is having trouble saving her farm.

C.J. Darlington gets extremely descriptive with her characters, you will be moved by this story, you will feel for Christy and May, its an amazingly written book!

About the Author:

C. J. began writing the story that would become Thicker than Blood (her first novel) when she was a fifteen-year-old homeschool student. She has been in the antiquarian bookselling business for over a decade, scouting for stores similar to the one described in the novel before cofounding her own online bookstore. Thicker than Blood was the winner of the 2008 Christian Writers Guild Operation First Novel.
