Future Not Failure

"And there arose such a sharp disagreement that they separated from one another, and Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus." (Acts 15:39, NASB)
Mark failed in his call as a missionary, but his uncle didn't give up on him. In fact, Barnabus chose to take a chance on Mark, when Paul refused to be deal with him again. Although Mark returned after deserting the last journey, the great evangelist wasn't convinced that his young man wouldn't betray the ministry again.
What happens when we fail? When one who holds your future gives up on you? The ONE does not give up! Both God and Barnabus saw something in Mark worth hanging on to. No man, no organization, nothing can cancel the call on your life.
YOU ARE ON COURSE!
At the end of Paul's life, he requested Mark, calling him "profitable to his ministry." Though it took many years, Paul saw what Jesus had seen all along--not failure--but future! No one can stop you from fulfilling God's purpose but you.
